MANAGER – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND CONTRACTS

JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager – Business Development and Contracts is responsible for preparing bids, analyzing the worldwide market, monitor contractual integrity and compliance and developing business for Drilling services internationally. The Manager – Business Development and Contracts is responsible for preparation of enders, business development and customer loyalty efforts internationally. He reports directly to the VP Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Business development with current and new operators.
  • Co-ordinate Customer Rig visits for rigs under construction.
  • Reports directly and provide support to VP- Marketing in the day to day management and long range stewardship of the company.
  • Maintain and update client databases.
  • Assist the Vice President Marketing to develop and then maintain contractual requirements to ensure a standardized approach to the negotiation and evaluation of service contracts and commercial issues.
  • Represent COSL Drilling by organizing and attending industry events.
  • Monitor drilling rig supply and demand on a world-wide basis.
  • Continually analyze pricing positions in the industry.
  • Work closely with the VP Marketing in the drafting, reviewing, negotiation and management of contracts for drilling services
  • Communicate effectively with executive management and operators throughout the contract period.
  • Build a strategy for Business development and communicate it effectively with management
  • Conducts tender reviews and preparation of proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-10 years of drilling and/or oilfield experience.
  • Strong familiarity with drilling equipment.
  • College degree highly valued.
  • Willing to travel extensively.
  • International experience and understanding.
