Job Title:
LEAD ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER
Requirements:
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 12 years experience in design and engineering of onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. Experience with EPC and EPCM companies or engineering consultancies preferred
Specialist in Rotating Equipment with knowledge/experience on static equipment also
It is essential to have experience in Centrifugal and reciprocating pumps and gas compressors, steam and gas turbines, gas and diesel engines
Experience in the following static equipment desirable: pressure vessels, heat exchangers (shell & tube, spiral, plate, etc.) separators, desuperheaters, exhaust stacks, filters, storage tanks etc.
Good knowledge on machine noise and vibration, auxiliary units
Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
- Equipment selection and sizing
- Prepare/check equipment data sheets, specifications and requisitions, carry out vendor offer review and technical bid evaluations, carry out vendor drawings/documents review and vendor data incorporation
- Prepare scope, deliverables, and man-hour estimation for new proposals
- Coordinate and plan resources for execution of projects
- Review inter-discipline drawings and documents such as PIDs, equipment layout etc.
- Coordinate with customers in document review and approval process
- Witness shop inspection and testing
- Assistance in plant erection, commissioning and start up
