Job descriptions:

  • Familiar with the International Codes, Standards and Specification including API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, ISO, NFPA and Maritime Code etc.
  • Have the ability to motivate cross-cultural teams in optimizing their performance levels.
  • Track record in successfully doing & managing project piping & mechanical design, piping & equipment layout & stress analysis etc.
  • Experienced in HAZOP and HAZID study etc.
CORE COMPETENCIES

Project Piping & Mechanical Engineering

  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers and designers for the productions of piping engineering deliverables for Front End and Detailed Design Projects.
  • Developing and checking plot plans, equipment layouts, piping general arrangement drawings, pipe support drawings and isometric drawings and performing engineering calculations.
  • Review all types of drawings (P&ID, Isometrics, Support detail Drawings) and specification of the job.
  • Managing detail design of piping works (conceptual design, detailed calculations, component selection, plan drawings, material selection).
  • Overseeing development of Overall Plot Plan, Equipment Layout, Piping Material Specifications, Piping Routing Study, Vessel Nozzle Orientation and Platform Details.
Project Management
  • Reviewing of the basis of design, specifications, data sheets, and drawings of technical bids.
  • Establish the list of discipline deliverables.
  • Control and monitor the progress of these deliverables to an agreed schedule.
  • Reviewing of contractor’s Engineering Procedures, Specifications and Standards.
  • Provide technical advice / clarification to queries to the contractors.
  • Monitoring project status during the course of periodic project review meetings as per the technical details.

Techno-Commercial Functions
  • Preparing detail specifications for purchases requisitions and to fully define project construction requirements.
  • Developing tender documents based on Detail Drawings and Specifications to obtain firm construction bids from Contractors and Equipment Vendors.
  • Prepare the Technical Bid Evaluations and Technical Recommendations.

Site & Construction Management
  • Coordinating all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities.
  • Implementing QA / QC procedures, Total Quality Management principles and checks.
  • Overseeing installation and commissioning of equipment’s, followed by plant trial runs meeting targeted performance / quality & quantity parameters and thereafter handing over of the Project
